It all started when...
A couple flying buddies decided it was time to do something about the dearth of advanced paragliding instruction in their region, so they teamed up and founded Paraglide New England. The mission was clear- Improve pilot skills across the northeastern USA by offering advanced mountain flying instruction, over-the-water maneuvers training, and guided flying trips to some of the best destinations in the world.
We teach paragliding because flying is our passion. We want nothing more than to foster a crew of solid paragliding pilots. We train the kind of pilots we want to fly with and who will positively represent free flight across New England and beyond. As such, PGNE is absolutely dedicated to pilot advancement. Our goal is to turn all our students into safe, skilled, independent pilots. From your first lesson until you earn your Master rating, PGNE will be with you every step of the way.
PGNE is proud to be one of the only paragliding schools in the northeast to be certified by the Professional Air Sports Association (PASA) and the Recreation Risk Retention Group (RRRG). Our instructors are all United States Hang Gliding & Paragliding Association (USHPA) appointed instructors. We’ve gone through an exhaustive process to identify and mitigate risks to make paragliding as safe and enjoyable experience as possible.
